Irish data management solutions company to implement HSA data strategy
May 14 2009, 10:32 AM
The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) has commissioned an Irish data management company to implement a new data strategy.
Version 1 will spend the next 12 months increasing efficiency and improving best practice in the use of systems through which the body interacts with members of the public and other organisations.
The new software will enable cases to be tracked and analysed with performance information also readily accessible.
HSA Enforcement Process Development Manager Jim Holmes commented: "Version 1 was awarded the contract to design, build, deploy and support the system because of a demonstrated ability to really understand our business requirements, and to leverage cutting-edge technology to enable proactive decision making within the authority through ease of access to our business data."
He added that the model represents best practice and has received a great deal of interest from regulatory bodies abroad, which have invited the authority to demonstrate the system to them.
Last month (April 30th), Version announced the launch of a grant management solution that can be used on a shared basis among public sector organisations.
