Irish growth helps direct marketer
Aug 16 2007, 09:30 AM
A marketing firm has announced an increase in profits thanks in part to a growth in the Irish market.
Advertising and communications firm, Havas, has posted a 4.4 per cent organic growth in revenue for the six months to the end of June and cited a strong market in Ireland as one of the factors behind that increase.
The company stated that its operations in Ireland enjoyed double digit growth during the first half of this year, demonstrating the strength in the country's marketing industry.
As competition in the direct marketing sector intensifies in the growing marketplace of Ireland, a high standard of data quality become even more important to ensure direct mail initiatives are bringing back the best returns on investments.
By maintaining a good level of data quality, direct mail initiatives can be improved by reducing the amount of information that is sent to incorrect or out-of-date addresses.
