The cost of poor data quality spelled out

The various ways in which data quality can impact on the success of a business have been highlighted by an industry expert.
Andrew Boyd, senior vice president and research director for the Aberdeen Group, has claimed that data quality issues pervade into every aspect of a business and are crucial to it being able to run efficiently.
Writing in TechNewsWorld, Mr Boyd explained: "Poor data quality can impact an organisation in a myriad of ways."
Improving and enhancing data quality is therefore important for companies to ensure that they are able to work more efficiently and provide a more streamlined operation.
One important facet of this is to ensure a high standard of address data quality so that information can be used more effectively.
