Leadership Biographies
Jonathan Hulford-Funnell - Group Operating Officer
In April 2007, Jonathan Hulford-Funnell took the position of Group Operating Officer at Experian QAS, having spent the previous 7 years building up the business in Australia and the US. On his return to the UK, Jonathan spent time listening to customers and looking at their data quality needs and what they wanted from Experian QAS. He worked with his management team to grow the company’s core proposition to deliver valuable software that takes advantage of the growing data quality space. A new company strategy was developed, leading to the creation of what is now termed ‘Contact Data Management’ or CDM. CDM encompasses eight data quality activities – capture and clean (traditional address management functions), data audit, standardisation, matching, enhancement, suppression and authentication (ID Management).
Aside from his role in re-energising the UK Business, Jonathan has led a number of other company initiatives. As part of our customer loyalty programme, for example, he appointed one of his Directors to each of the key customers so that they had additional support outside of their day to day account management team.
Jonathan now leads Experian’s Marketing Services division in the EMEA region. His focus is on achieving revenue growth in both existing and emerging territories and he continues to manage Experian QAS globally.
