Update

Definition:

The term 'update' is used within Experian QAS to refer to receiving technical or product updates of your current products and solutions. Updates are available across multiple data sets provided by Experian QAS.

Updates and update discs can be received via the post or electronically via Electronic Data Updates (EDU's) or also know as Electronic Updates (EU's). You will receive data updates and update discs, during adhoc periods throughout the year. For example, commonly on a monthly or 6 monthly basis.

Updates contain additions to data covered in the software you own.

QAS Electronic Updates downloads Experian QAS data updates over the Internet and installs them for use with your Experian QAS applications. It can download and install all of the datasets, additional datasets and DataPlus sets (including Suppression datasets) that you are licensed to use, as soon as new data is available.

You can configure QAS Electronic Updates to download data only, or to automatically install and activate data after downloading. Downloads and new data installation can be scheduled for particular times.
